Start with the original file
A vector original such as an SVG, AI, EPS or suitable PDF can be useful for logos; a high-resolution original image may be appropriate for photographic artwork. A file extension alone does not establish quality: a PDF can still contain a low-resolution screenshot. Send the source available to you and tell us if it needs cleanup rather than enlarging a small image and assuming detail has been recovered.
Supply the layout and the final wording
Identify the product, colour and intended placements. Include the final names, numbers, dates and wording in a separate clear list so they can be checked against the layout. Tell us the intended finished dimensions if you know them, and flag important brand colours. Discuss required fonts and whether a supplied file can be reliably opened before final approval.
Confirm specifications for the selected product
Garment artwork, business cards, labels and transfer gang sheets have different production requirements. Confirm dimensions, bleed, cut outlines and other preparation with the selected product or quote. For transfers, follow the current specifications on 3thirty3print.ca. Keep an approved copy of the artwork and do not rely on a mockup screenshot as the only production source.
